Hendry's Hideaways
in North Wales
**COVID-19 UPDATE **
Due to the current lockdown restrictions covering the whole of the UK, we have closed our booking system until we are sure that we can uphold any bookings that are made. The safety of our guests and the village community is paramount so we hope you can understand that we remain closed for the time being.
As soon as it is legal and safe to open up to guests, we would love to hear from you. In the meantime, please keep an eye on our social pages on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
ABOUT US
We are a husband and wife team who moved to the country to live a rural life. We have a brood of rescue chickens who rule the roost and supply us with fresh eggs, two sprollie dogs who keep us on our toes and a little old cat who holds her own against the rest of the gang. We absolutely love where we live and want to share it with guests and visitors who need a place to rest their weary bones after exploring the wonders of North Wales.
Take time out from the hustle and bustle and relax in the Welsh Mountains. Our 18th century converted corn mill can fit the whole family and we are pet friendly, so your furry friends can have a holiday too. 4 bedrooms sleep up to 8 people and the family kitchen has everything you need to cook for the whole crew. Wifi, board games and a selection of DVDs means the whole family are catered for and you can easily plan your next day of adventures.
Set in 2 acres of pasture and woodland with our very own stream running through, you are welcome to explore the land, rest and relax to your heart's content. Sit in the swing chair under the old chestnut tree with a glass of something, dangle your feet over the little bridge into the refreshing waters of the stream or sit in the deck chairs and watch the bees and butterflies flitting from wildflower to wildflower.
From this rural base, you are just a short drive away from all the main attractions North Wales has to offer. Bala, Ruthin, Betws y Coed and Llangollen are just a few of the local towns and Snowdonia is only a short drive away. Whether it's walking, water sports, gift shopping, eating and drinking, playing on the beach or just the chance to relax and unwind, this is the place to do it. Take a look at our See & Do page for just a few ideas of what's on offer for your holiday.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
This is our home but if you book to stay in our Old Corn Mill we simply lock up and leave you to your own devices. We can be on hand to welcome you and show you were everything is or simply let you explore by yourselves. The entire property and land is yours for the duration of your stay.
